May 2, 2028 – Singer and anti-clothing activist Miley Cyrus, virtual world avatar Kirkazon and South Korean cyborg president B-2 are among the newsmakers on Time magazine’s 2028 list of the most influential people in the world.

The magazine’s list of the 100 who shape the world, on the magazine’s Web site on Friday, also include U.S. of Google CEO Larry Page, who engineered Google’s purchase of the federal government last month; Leonardo DiCaprio, the nation’s new environmental czar; former U.S. President Oprah Winfrey; and actor and anti-Scientology activist Connor Cruise.

Cyrus made the list for the second year in a row. She was recognized for her international campaign to encourage people to get comfortable with public nudity because of apparel manufacturing’s harmful effects on the environment.

It is B-2’s first time on the list. His predecessor, a Samsung-made prototype model named B-1, made the list in 2022 after being elected to the National Assembly a few months earlier. It marked the first time an artificial life form was elected to a government position. B-2 was assembled and elected to the National Assembly in 2024 and elevated to the presidency in 2026.

Kirkazon was recognized for being the most powerful man in the universe on Linden Labs’ virtual world, Preferred Life.

The list includes 60 women, 20 men, 17 avatars and 3 cyborgs, a spokeswoman for the magazine said.
