Palin Turns Tables on Couric

November 13, 2028 — Veteran news personality Katie Couric was left speechless last night when she appeared as a guest on “The Palin Factor,” the Fox News.com program hosted by Sarah Palin.

Palin steered clear of politics and social issues during the interview with the former anchor of The CBS Evening News and NBC’s The Today Show, and instead grilled Couric on issues that she said “are important to hockey moms and Joe Six-Packs and all the other great people of America.”

“It was nice to be gettin’  some revenge on someone who used to hit me with those ‘gotcha’ questions,” Palin said following the program. “And I was a little surprised, ya know, the lack of knowledge, and she didn’t know important things. “I mean, she couldn’t name one team in the NHL. She said she’s never been on a snow mobile. And when I pressed her, she admitted she hasn’t ever shot a moose.”

Couric had no comment following the program.

The interview was broadstreamed on the web a little over 20 years after Palin, then a running mate of presidential candidate John McCain, sat down for an interview with Couric and exposed her shaky understanding of national and international affairs and an inability to form complete sentences.
