June 5, 2029— Fashion designer Donatella Versace and Oscar-winning actor Mickey Rourke will be inducted Sunday into the Plastic Surgery Hall of Fame, the Academy for Altering the Appearance of Humans (AAAH) announced this morning.
The annual posthumous induction is going to the late socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein, in recognition of her success in changing her face so drastically that she resembled an animal. Wildenstein, who was a skilled hunter died tragically in 2012 while on safari in Kenya; a fellow hunter mistook her for a lion and shot her to death.
The Hall of Fame museum opened in Beverly Hills in 2025 to commemorate celebrities who have made the most drastic changes to their faces and bodies over the course of their careers. Inductees have included Michael Jackson, Pamela Anderson, Dolly Parton, Bruce Jenner and the late Joan Rivers. Last year’s inductees were Cher, Nicole Kidman and the late Kenny Rogers.
Once inducted, the celebrities are featured in museum’s hall of fame exhibit, with a variety of before-and-after images and videos.
Tori Spelling will serve as emcee of this year’s induction ceremony, to be streamed live over the Web from Hollywood. Presenters will include other cosmetic surgery addicts ranging from Meg Ryan to comedian Carrot Top. Viewer discretion is advised.
