The German firm Armatix has developed a high-tech gun with an electronic safety that automatically disables the pistol when it’s not within a few inches of a custom wristwatch. The watch sends a wireless arming signal to the gun. Question – Does the watch have to be near a Wi-Fi hotspot?
And will it still work if hacked off the owner’s wrist?
What if someone disarms me and is really close to me? He could still shoot me. Can’t they make the grip DNA sensitive and have a fingerprint sensor in the trigger?
Also, do they have different styles of watch to go with whatever gown I might be wearing that evening?
If a wifii hotspot is required then well, time would have to stand still in order to kill…or perhaps not.
